The new Extra Moist Cake Mixes in Plain or Chocolate have been developed to offer the consumer a really moist cake which has a premium and indulgent eating experience. The Plain Mix is ideal for making delicious loaf cakes such as Cranberry & Orange, Cherry & Almond and Mocha Coffee and cup cakes such as Raspberry and White Chocolate Cup Cakes. The new Plain Yoghurt Cake Mix, meanwhile, has added yoghurt for a characteristic taste and aroma with a healthier twist. The development team at BakeMark have reduced the sodium content in line with the government’s 2010 salt targets and this new mix also provides bakers with the option of offering customers a reduced fat alternative. Bakers simply substitute the oil in the recipe with low fat yoghurt and the egg with egg whites to produce a reduced fat cake, which is better for you but yet still an indulgent treat.
