
A slice of disco heaven and a range of baked delights, courtesy of BakeMark UK, went down a storm at Food and Drink Expo 2008 – at the busiest stand at the show.
BakeMark UK, Britain’s leading supplier of bakery ingredients and frozen and ambient bakery products, tempted visitors over to their stand with a 70’s ‘Eat to the Beat’ theme – complete with disco balls, a roller girl and the Bee Gees!*
Bakers and food service operators alike were invited to stop by the stand for a themed cocktail to compliment the range of existing and new products prepared by BakeMark. As well as a selection of freshly baked exciting new products to sample, the stand featured a disco soundtrack and visuals, which created a real impact at the show.
“This year’s show was a great success for BakeMark. People loved our unique stand and we were swamped daily with visitors as well as several of our key customers,” commented Vera Malhotra, Head of Marketing at BakeMark UK. “Visitors were particularly interested in our new Better-For-You Cookie range, Matchmaker Cookies, American Style Muffins, Fully Baked Fruited Scones, Glazed Doughnuts, plus BakeMark’s recent acquisition, Kate’s Cakes.”
